Linden Bar Hop
Bridge117 Cafe
117 N Bridge St Linden, MI 48451
(810) 458-6101
While Bridge117 has a complete menu, their sandwiches are the best things you’ll find on it. They’re some of the most unique sandwiches you’ll find in the Flint area. Take the Bahn Mi for instance. A Vietnamese style sandwich with cucumbers, pickles onions and daikons, carrots and grilled pork or chicken, this sandwich is a world of flavors. Another unique offering is the Pork Milanese Torta, a Mexican style sandwich on fried bread served with all sorts of Mexican staples like cilantro, avocado and queso fresco. For another Mexican staple, go with the enchilada if you aren’t in the mood for sandwiches. The ambiance is great. It’s about as modern as you’ll find in Linden. It’s open, a bit basic and very clean.
What's Shaken Burger Grill
15155 Silver Pkwy. Fenton, MI 48430
(810) 354-8350
For a classic American meal in a classic American dine, What’s Shaken is one of Flint’s best options. The burgers here are out of this world, especially the Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger with crispy onion rings. If you like vegetables on your burger, you’re in luck because the toppings here are incredibly fresh. And if you like spicy, the Sriracha Bleu Cheese Burger is always a good choice. The ambiance is pretty typical of burger joints. It relies on old-fashion decor, and the waitstaff is super friendly.
Calabria Village
517 E Broad St. Linden, MI 48451
(810) 735-9451
Specializing in all things Italian-American, Calabria has some of the best, if not the best, pizza in town. The BLT pizza is amazing, with a bit of a Mexican taste to it, while their Meat Lovers is no joke. Topped to the max with bacon, ham, pepperoni, Italian sausage and ground beef, you can hardly see the cheese beneath it all. While the subs aren’t the most unique you can find in town (after all it is in the same town as Bridge117), they’re still high-quality nonetheless.
Linden Hotel
122 E Broad St. Linden, MI 48451
(810) 735-5780
For a small town bar, the Linden Hotel certainly does not disappoint. The ambiance here is stellar. All sorts of classic bar decor lines the walls, including but not limited to, a sports car hood, sports memorabilia and no shortage of neon beer signs. The food here is great for bar food. The Philly cheesesteak is the town’s best, while even the fried pickles are worthy of mention. In all, good food and drinks, five-star customer service and a wholly interesting ambiance make this place a shining gem in Linden.
Ciaravella’s Pizzeria and Bakery
111 S Bridge St. Linden, MI 48451
(810) 735-0999
If you’re looking for great speciality pizzas and stellar Italian fare, head to Ciaravella’s ASAP. Their margherita pizza is amazing. With the freshest mozzarella outside of Italy and beautiful torn basil leaves, this pizza is a masterpiece. If you’re into pasta, make sure you come here on Wednesdays, their pasta day. The Baked Mafalda is one of their most popular pasta dishes, while you simply cannot go wrong with their artisan beef ravioli. They also have all sort of subs and sandwiches, making this a complete Italian-American restaurant.
Corner Bar & Grill
4015 Owen Rd. Fenton, MI 48430(810) 354-8808
While you’ll have to travel to Fenton for the Corner Bar & Grill, it’s certainly worth the trip. With a full menu offering all sorts of burgers, salads and appetizers, and a complete drink menu as well, this place is perfect for a long night of drinking and eating. If you’re coming for the food, you have to try their Blackened Cod Tacos, a crowd favorite. But if you’re not huge on seafood, the Chicken Bruschetta is a safe bet. And if you like a stiff bloody Mary, make sure you come in during their Sunday brunch hours. The ambiance here is a perfect blend of upscale and casual, which helps attract a very diverse crowd.
