If you’re sweet tooth just won’t keep quiet, visit the Grafted Root. The French toast here is to die for. For total freshness go with the Blueberry French Toast. They also cook up a mean omelette. Newbies: make sure you order it as a frittata. But if you’re looking for something hearty, the Chicken Pot Pie is steamy, creamy perfection. The ambiance here is wonderful for a diner. Beautiful artwork adorns the walls, and the waitstaff knows how to deliver stellar service.

For an assuming meal, the Hot Dog Stand has you covered. First off, the homemade root beer is a must-try. This diner seems to be unchanged for decades. They still have waitresses on roller skates, and the drive-up order system is wonderful. If it’s your first time, make sure you order their classic coney dog or even their signature red sauce on your hot dog.

One of the hottest bars around, the Point offers great food, awesome drinks and fun games. The burgers here are the main attraction as far as food goes, so don’t miss out on one of their mouthwatering burgers and thick steak fries. There’s also shuffleboard and free pool, making this a great place for a casual night out. The ambiance here is nothing special, so leave your fancy drink ideas at home.

For a little bit of elegance in Gland Blanc, Da Edoardo is a must-visit. While the entrees are excellent, the desserts will be the first to catch your eye. The Peanut Butter Pie is unparalleled, and the Tira Misu is an easy crowd favorite. For the main dish, any of their pasta choices are a great choice. The fettuccine comes covered in the perfect meat sauce, and the Gemelli Emilia Romagna, a veal pasta, is absolutely delectable. The ambiance here is definitely upscale, so come with your best manners and an empty stomach to make the most out of your visit.

Crossbow Inn is Grand Blanc’s primer restaurant for upscale American stye food. The sandwiches here are amazing. The Reuben is the best in the entire Flint area, and the fish sandwich is perfect for seafood lovers. However, the burgers are always a safe bet. The Nottingham Burger is a full 1/3 pound burger topped with a generous amount of olives, bacon and Swiss cheese.
